Meet the Mets

Specifically, David Wright. On top of MVP caliber numbers in the first half of the season, he went and bashed 16 home runs in the first round of the Home Run Derby and came in second to (my prediction, sorry David) Ryan Howard. He even managed to save one more for the All-Star Game too and seemingly had the MVP locked up until Trevor Hoffman remembered that the American League hadn’t lost an ASG in almost a decade.

On top of all that, he was on Letterman the other night. I forgot it was on but my new favorite website had the interview and now you can see it too!

(EDIT: MLB removed the video from Youtube.  Balls.)

I didn’t realize that Letterman was a Yankee fan. Oh well, we aren’t all perfect.

By the way, my official position on the Mets remains “I’m not saying anything.”

I love YouTube, have I mentioned that before?

I probably have mentioned that before. This clip might be worth checking out – it’s a bunch of badly dressed college boys singing Sufjan Stevens’ “Chicago” and the dude singing the lead nails SS’s vocal stylings.

Through the magic of You Tube you can watch it right here!
